Winner in the 14th Annual Learning Magazine Teachers’ Choice Awards

14th Annual Learning(r) Magazine Teachers' ChoiceSM Awards

In 1994, Learning Magazine introduced the first Teachers' Choice Awards program.  Over the years, the program has grown to become one of the most recognized and prestigious awards in the educational market.  For the 14th annual program, 82 winners were chosen based on their scores from the evaluations done by a panel of teachers across the country.

A team of teachers evaluates each product in the classroom.  The products are evaluated on quality, instructional value, ease of use, and innovation. Each product is evaluated on its own merit.  Only those products that meet our teachers' stringent standards are chosen to receive a Teachers' Choice Award. Teachers' Choice is the only awards program that is exclusively judged by teachers in the classroom.

This is my first time a product I've done has won an award in the Learning Magazine Teacher's Choice Awards and I'm very excited to be recognized. It feels really good to now that a product that I created is really helping out and being used every day by teachers. I do want to make it clear that the art for the New Horizons Satellite was provided by NASA, and I was responsible for everything else. I don't want to take credit for a piece of art I didn't do.
